The suicide bomber is one of the most dangerous and effective weapons facing civilized societies today. Suicide IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) have become terrorists’ weapon of choice — they are inexpensive, relatively easy to produce, difficult to counter and have a palpable risk/reward ratio for the terrorist. Although less than 10% of terrorist attacks around the world are suicide attacks, they are responsible for 50% of attack victims.This training concentrates on three key areas to defend against the threat of suicide attacks:
